Rode into work in my leathers. Felt weird. I was tempted to peel off and hit the country roads for a couple of hours

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
One of those frustrating rides into work.
It's that time of year where sun is directly in my eyes into work and on the way home, which makes it a struggle to see well, despite the sun visor. It also means that drivers are struggling to see and don't want to use their mirrors as much.
The M6 was clogged up. With me not being 100% confident I was seeing how close I was to cars and with cars not seeing me it was a real pain filtering through traffic, made worse with a prick on a tiger with a private plate cutting me up then blocking me. Tosser.

Have you tried the light smoke visor yet Kwacky?
I took my dark one out last night and fitted the light smoke one. Not ridden in it yet but thought could be a good compromise at this time of year.

Yep, that's the one I'm currently using. Problem is the position of the sun, it's just above eye level and at my 11 o'clock for most of the ride. As daft as it sounds it's actually quite tiring riding in these conditions.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Put some 1/2 inch thick black tape across the very top of the visor. Virtually zero effect on your field of view but will block out that annoying low level sun just above the eye level.
2 second fix and easily removed if not effective.
Worth a try

Something you keep handy in your overnight bag IIRC.

Yeah stick to 1/2" insulation tape don't go using your usual Gaffer tape or you won't be seeing anything

Personally I think you were quite reasonable Kwacky and the other people were just selfish

Kwacky back to visors does your mist up ????
I had the dark one in at Oulton without th pinlock insert and it was misting up very easily on the morning sessions and that was with all the vents fully open.
I find the top vents effective but the chin vent next to use less which may explain the misting up easily.

Did the pinlock insert help or like me have you left it in the box

That's without the pinlock. It does work with the pinlock in.
Just try not to break the holding screws when you put the pinlock in
