Update from my neighbour who was on th4 rideout...
7000 bikes, apparently.
Holy cow!!!
Points I took away from today? Well, my kids liked pointing out orange bikes and fluffy Elmo helmet covers, but after half an hour they're bored of them!
Also, the missus asked why I don't go out on the bike more often like the neighbour does.
When I explained that I felt guilty every time I left her and the kids to go and have fun by myself, she said she didn't mind and I should go out and do it.
Well after being out on a ride with Frankie and Jon today, I am now sat in my track day chair out the front of the garage catching the last of the sun before it disappears round the side of the house with a large bottle of Budweiser !!!!
been and bought some 2 piece leathers this morning i think i have tried all the leathers on in yorkshire.... Tried them out when i got home wish i had not felt tight and not relaxed also VERY warm. The roads were cluttered with bikers and cars which was not a nice mix. Crash at buxton and i got turned around on the snake pass cause of another accident hope all involved are ok. I managed to stretch the leathers a bit hope they stretch some more as there still tight.
now chilling with a leffe blonde
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Sound like you're onto a winner there mate what with the summer here haha!! Use and abuse that comment [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
Picked the kids up in the car with the roof down.
They had a right scream in the back waving their arms above their heads as I accelerated at a reasonable speed
Seeing their little faces laughing and giggling was well worth it

Yep....know that feeling all too well!!
The "Don't sit down, you won't be here that long" comment from the ex only confirmed matters.
What's done is done...I'm not about reliving the past, 'cos there's nothing I can do about it...you learn and you move on.
I bought the ex out D41 so I'm here for good now. She moved out last weekend. Just has been a year since I left, so it's going to take a while before it feels like mine again. Feels a bit empty too as she's taken all the art and photos from the walls! I didn't like most of the art she chose, so at least I get to put up what I want now, but just had that empty hall feel at present. Kids rooms are still as they were so at least they feel comfy.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
