Looks like it is going to carry straight on from the last film, rather than the gap we get between the other films.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII
Honestly could care less......the last good SW movie was Empire Strikes Back....everything since has been utter crap.
Bit like Bond movies really....the ideas just become diluted and repetitive, and every attempt they make to "reinvigorate" these series just gets worse. I understand they're trying to appeal to younger generations and all that, and that's fine....just not for me anymore.
Worst is Le Carre movies....they just never seem to translate well to film......The Constant Gardener is the one notable exception, that flick was pretty decent.

My iTunes preorder arrived this morning and Sarah said at breakfast, "We can watch it on Friday family film night"

I was watching the digital-cartoon SW series last night.....it's OK...a bit kiddyish with it's 'script' (for wont of a better term) but that's to be expected,,,,feckin' Ewoks show up though and I'm gonna light-saber the fcuk out of the TV with my feckin' UltraSaber!!!....always keep it handy.....a Jedi never lets down his guard.

This is a decent fan piece about how Snoke could be the father of Anakin Skywalker

There are??Kwacky wrote:Which series ? There are a few.
I didn't know....some animated thing is about all I know....'The Clone Wars' maybe??
I don't care....I'm part of the SW family and can prove it....I don't mix with the riff-raff who actually watch the recycled crap that gets put out.
/goes off to polish his er, 'saber'.
