You may as well do the R1 test ride, seeing as you're going to get one ....

Hahaha!! Yes I do want test rides but feel so bad for not actually being able to buy one! S1KRR would be the best in my opinion would love to be able to pick one of those up

Rossgo that's the point of a test ride, to see if you like it. Don't feel bad about saying you prefered a different model as an excuse when your not really in the market for a new bike.
Dealers have these demostrators to be used by customers and realise not every single test ride will turn into a sale. But it's not just about the sale. The manufacturers are getting products used and discussed by customers which is great publicity and marketing for them.

And if you find and R1 to test ride you will probably be the first in the country...even more so now they are all off the road.

Re: One for the Honda fan boys
Tbh I would love a test ride on the new R1 but it would have to be in comparsion with a 1299. I can live without an R1 but at some point in my biking career I want a big fast red Ducati sportsbike and that's on the bucket list so maybe that's my next rideKwacky wrote:You may as well do the R1 test ride, seeing as you're going to get one ....
