Bit of a boring race in the end, disappointed at least one overtake wasn't tried on jlo but he was his usual consistent and super smooth self

Re: Lorenzo wins race and 2015 title
I wasn't too worried about who won the championship, I just wanted to see it won on the back of an exciting race. The first half of the race was quite entertaining watching Rossi progress through the pack with a bit of assistance from the people he was passing avoiding getting out of the way. I think he needed to do it all in the first 3 or 4 laps to have stood any chance though because the gap was far too big later on. Like I said in the other thread though, I wish MM had at least tried to race Lorenzo at some point instead of his only real stand out moment being defending Lorenzos rear from pedrosas attempt with 2 to go.

Is it just me or did anyone else think MM wasn't really trying? Not one pass attempted in 30 laps apart from on Danny

It certainly looked like MM was protecting jlo when Danni tried to overtake,I am sure we will see more of this next year
A friend of mine who was there said the booing from the crowd when they were on the podium was terrible,I think they went to see an epic race and didn't get one

I've not seen the race (couldn't find it on here in Cali) and agree its a shame if the race wasn't more exciting.
But at the same time, if I was MM (and at least my initials are lol) and Rossi had punted me off the track the race before. Then **** yeah I'd make sure he never won the title.

I tried to avoid the result as I only get to watch the highlights on ITV of a Monday night and I succeeded ... well nearly.
It was the lack of posts on social media that gave it away but I still watched the highlights tonight not knowing the full result.

Re: Lorenzo wins race and 2015 title
Strange race all season Marquez has been all guns blazing to be at the front and seemed if anything to be working with Lorenzo to gap pedroser. It was Rossis fault he started were he did and chucked the championship away fighting with someone who was not really in the running. Been a fantastic season I hope next season is just as close.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: Lorenzo wins race and 2015 title
Marquez had been told last Thursday by race control to back it off and not get tangled up with Lorenzo and Rossi.
Given his front end issues and that the Yamaha punched better out of the corners, I don't think Marquez could have made a clean and wide move on Lorenzo.
Lorenzo was the fastest rider on the track. His qualifying times and his race pace proved that. Rossi wasn't quick enough. 4th was the highest he was going to finish.
I do believe had that been a mid season race then Lorenzo would have had a battle on his hands.

Re: Lorenzo wins race and 2015 title
I agree with you Kwacky - it didn't look like Marquez had enough on Lorenzo to make a clean move. Considering Lorenzo was the only person that could really lose out (seeing as if he crashed he lost the championship) I think Marquez did the right thing.
Marquez probably did protect Lorenzo a bit but I don't blame him - Rossi has been a complete A$swipe for the last 3 races of the season and deserved everything he got. Rossi masterminded this whole thing and he has to lay in his own bed!

There was no way Marquez was going to do anything to help Rossi after the crap that's gone on this season.
