Busy dodging cars switching into bus lanes and suicidal students who think it's entertaining to run across the traffic lights when they're on green.

Thanks for the info Frankie.
I know other euro TD organisers offer hire bike services but it was the particular company you keep returning to that I would have hoped to go with based on your recommendations of them being so good.
May look into track insurance for the zx10r as another idea.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I got a compliment last night about my filtering. There are some roadworks near where I work. The only way to get through the traffic is to bully the cars. It generally works.
I saw a bike was following from a distance.
I got to the lights and a well spoken middle chap on an old R reg bike with Guzzi panniers pulled up. He had a white full face flip up lid with 2 green IAM sticks on it and a hi-viz vest. "Nice bit of filitering that. Sadly too many bikers don't bother".
He shot off and I followed him through the next lot of traffic. He could ride that bike.

It is indeed a lovely looking bike, from many angles.
But..
Is it just me, or does it look a bit "startled" from the front.?

Going to brave washing mine... its rancid with flies and stuff... but I'm too hungover, the rugby is on and it's cold outside. I need motivation!

Checked the blade over (again ) in readiness for dropping it off on Tuesday, packed two bags for the same. One with tools and essentials mainly cable ties and duct tape you never know.
The other with my kit in, left the leathers loose this time , might make it easier to get everything on the bike crate.

Picked the CBR up ready for Tuesday. It's had a good check over from the guys looking after it for me. Packed up a few basic tools, also including tie wraps ..
