I'll be surprised if I get out at all much now until next spring when we get some warm weather. Maybe a couple of Short blasts will end the season for me and the bikes will be getting tucked up for winter.

Fwiw I was up in the Cotswolds at a customers Friday last week, as I turned the last corner I heard a "ping!" from the dash, when I looked to see the problem it was the 3°c frost warning arriving for the first time.
I really hate Winter.
I was walking the Thames path yesterday, I was bloody freezing, you could really feel the temp drop and rise. However when the sun came up and started to shine it did warm up pretty quick, but that will stop soon.
On the bike Sunday I could really feel it getting cold late on in the afternoon, I need some decent gloves for winter. I think with the textile trousers I am sorted on the legs dept, but my hands really do feel it, even with heated grips.
It's the feeling of some much stuff on that gets me during the winter, always feels so much lighter and easier in the warmer months on a bike, big jackets and what not just feel so bulky, let alone the getting ready to go out time ha ha
I don't move around much on the bike when I'm commuting so the bulky clothing isn't an issue. The only thing I'm not keen on are the thick winter gloves.

my windscreen was frozen this morning, the heated waistcoat will be coming out soon for the multi, though you can buy a battery pack so I could use it on the 999 I suppose.
