These drone things
Are getting a bit silly now.
I know there have been UK articles about them getting close to planes, but I've just seen a new story about one in the states
Some kid has put a hand gun on the front of one that can be fired remotely.
WTF !!

Re: These drone things
That's nuts hopefully he will be prosecuted for this as flying remote control hand guns is a huge NO NO. The potential consequences of that getting into the wrong hands is extremely scary.

But apparently not for the drone incident. Think the FFA is investigating that.

Yep, we're going to need mini air defences soon. I won't take much for members of the public to start using those little drones for attacks or to cause disruption.

The daft tw@ts that run this country will probably give them some generous benefits too. It's almost laughable

Re: These drone things
Apparently Amazon are thinking about using then to speed up delivery times. They recon in the US they could get delivery down to under two hours from when you order in done areas, so it's not all bad...Perkles wrote:they would be great for delivering pizza

Re: These drone things
Until the drones start going missing. Too many guns in the US for those drones not to be a tempting target.

Re: These drone things
Exactly my thoughts. People will sit on the biggest hill in the area on the delivery route flight path and just shoot all the goods out of the sky, straight into the back of their mates pick up.
