Re: What you watching?
I quite enjoyed it as well. Just waiting for an excuse to take eldest nutz to see the latest minion film.

Bsb race one if anyone stays on and manages to finish. It's like demolish derby at Brands today.
One particular fast and nasty crash, I hope the rider is OK.

Snap, just watching that and the crash rate was impressive, had to turn it off as the MiL has just turned up.

"like a gaping hippo's mouth" means something completely different here in Brum, which is all I can see when I look at that Hippo photo.

Re: What you watching?
Yeah, not bad, typical Marvel fare really, great CGI, decent cast/acting, great humour throughout, the fight on the Thomas the Tank Engine train set was brilliant. The kids loved it and we watched it at a new (to us) cinema in Wisbech, The Light. Very swish, really nice place.Rossgo wrote:Any good?Itchy wrote:Ant Man.
Definitely worth a watch if you're into the comic book stuff. Maybe even if you're not!

Re: What you watching?
I'm generally not really into comic book films however the actor who plays the ant man is a good actor and believe he would pull it off. Seen the advert for it so am up for watching it at some point.Itchy wrote:Yeah, not bad, typical Marvel fare really, great CGI, decent cast/acting, great humour throughout, the fight on the Thomas the Tank Engine train set was brilliant. Re: What you watching?
Tour de France.
The speed they descend these mountains going from hairpin to hairpin probably at 40 plus mph on 20mm slick tyres is mind blowing.
There is no armco either in a lot of places so if you go over the edge your having a free fall for at least 100 metres.
Tough and talented athletes these cyclists.

Re: What you watching?
I managed to watch it last night and was astounded by a, the speed and skill of the riders, and b, the horrific behaviour of some spectators to Chris Froome. I know Le Tour is insane at times, but that stuff was beyond the pale.
