I have a similar problem with the front carbon mudguard i bought for the 748.
Its a top quality item but it doesn't fit.

Once you've bought a Chinese fairing kit (ok not so top quality) you realise that anything will "fit"duke63 wrote:Its a top quality item but it doesn't fit.

I've emailed the guy at Jesters where I got the hugger from and he's agreed to refund me so I've posted it back to him.

It's a Dynavolt, well that's what's written on it anyway, it's an Ebay special so its a lottery on whether it'll be any good. I've finally managed to get some charge into it, but it's still only hitting 12.2v after pulling it off the charger. It's enough to spin the starter, but now the engine wants to stay asleep despite turning over sluggishly.D6 wrote:Who's battery was that?
So much for getting it up and running for tomorrow, looks like we'll be having some quality spanner time instead of enjoying some dry roads.

Horrible ride into work. The roads are very greasy and the reduced visibility doesn't help you when you want to make good progress.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Rode her about 30 miles after fiddling with the suspension settings what a difference it has made :-) think the guy had it all messed up or adjusted to his weight as it feels a lot more nibbler now :-)
Oh and bent my key after filling her up. Didn't mean to but there was loads of fuel all over the floor at the fuel station and I didn't want to ride on it so decided to hop off the bike and fill from the other side it put me off and bent the key in the lock :-(
Don't tell me how stupid it was lol

Had a few bits and pieces to collect so used the bike. Into town for some contact lenses, then J and S for some gloves and paddock stand fork supports, then off to the pet shop for some crickets.

Put the stainless steel sprocket nuts on and swapped the mirrors over for some new ones. Let's hope they all stay on.

So that's why it's been raining? It always rains when you go out.
I've been trying to clean the bike all day.

Took the Tiger to pieces to try and find out why it didn't want to start, tested the injectors and found they were clagged up, so cleaned them out tested them and finally got it running about 17.30.
I'll have to put the rest of the bike together tomorrow or Monday.

In Derby at the moment at some designer outlet place but hope to be home after lunch so I can put the old hugger on and give the bike a bath, I think I need to invest in a new battery.
I get knocked down but i get up again.
