I'd love to do another road trip to tackle SMP again.... alas it's unlikely to happen for a few years!!
Best of luck. Hope you banish your hoo-doo.

Paid for photos but I won't get them till after my swing at work, so about 4 weeks away. But he did say he might email me a couple of I ask nicely.
Got the SJ4000 cam with me but not putting it on first the first session or two.

Came in from first session finished and got waved in by a marshal going back to pits and told to go to registration and move up a group. We have slow, med, med-fast, fast. I was in med and moved up to med-fast. Only issue was I had to go straight back out to join their session. Came in early as I was knackered! Getting my right knee down on all the RH corners but just nicking the left occasionally. It's all body position cause I'm motto the edge of the tyre on the right but I am on the left, go figure!

Bloody hell I forgot how hard this is on the body!
Half way thru the day, going good. Had a few big power slides going on, but the tyres are pretty predictable. Damn brakes are insane! I've got to ease up a bit into corners, I'm lifting the back more times than not, and that's above my ability level
Great day so far, great weather and the smell of burnt fuel everywhere!

Well I didn't plan that too well. Where I put the camera prevented me from getting my head behind the screen properly down the main straight and I was nearly getting blown off! So the speed was down about 10 km but other than that the footage looks ok. I'll post it up tonight.
Dialed the steering dampener in some more so the head shakes out of corners are much less violent and I'm being a bit more careful on the throttle coming out of corners so no scarey slides that session.
2 more to go!
