Best TT Lap Ever
Best TT lap I have ever watched . Totally mind blowing especially when the bars get a tankslapper on and they don't even roll off, those boys have got some balls .

Re: Best TT Lap Ever
Amazing... That bike never looked comfortable at any point of the lap really.
Makes me want to go back to the island again next year..

These boys must have some big balls on them.
If my bars wagged like that at any point, I reckon I would have to stop and check my trousers before proceeding and they don't even roll off.

Re: Best TT Lap Ever
That's the first time I have seen a whole lap watching an actual rider from the onboard of another rider and it looks completely different from that camera angle IMO. The speed is mind blowing but the accuracy, bravery and skill can be seen much better than from any other camera angle and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would swear it was impossible to go that quick on the road.
They very fact there breaking the 130 mph lap on superstock bikes which is not much different to the tackle a lot of us ride is quite simply insane IMO.
Also there is not a lot better Martin and Dunlop or the Beemer and the gixer. They both very closely matched.

I realize that some of it was exaggerated by the camera, but the transition from light to shade would be one of a million difficult wrinkles to have master. Totally incredible video, now shared with all my mates! Thanks, Blade

Re: Best TT Lap Ever
Glad you like it Mac. I'm a bit sad and watch a lot of YouTube bike videos especially TT ones. The first one in my post is by far the best I've seen IMO. I have never seen it recorded like that for a full lap before. Its normally a solo bike onboard, or aerial view from a helicopter.

Sounds like he could be in with a real chance this year. The BMW is an absolute rocket, and from blades posts it looks like he's getting on with it.

Nice vid, ta.
The sense of speed is staggering. They're flat out, on a road, with the bike squirming and fighting.
Yet they want to go faster.

Watching the bike in front for a full lap from so close up is amazing.

Re: Best TT Lap Ever
Everyone i have heard who has been fast there says the TT lap is a case of learning, learning, learning which corner is next, where to tip in, where to accelerate and where to brake.
I think its a very different skill to the way we ride on the road. I don't believe you could ride it that fast without knowing every section of that road very very well and what comes next. Amazing skill nonetheless.
I would love to see Guy Martin win this year so he can retire from it a happy man and in one piece. He's always said his first win will be his last race there.

Re: Best TT Lap Ever
Unless he wins the first race of 2015, or even better does a hutchy and makes a clean sweep across the board. Fancy that he has been trying to win a TT for 10 years and then wins 5 in one year.

Re: Best TT Lap Ever
Just watched the lap for the first time, f**k those boys move. I've been there countless times since I was a nipper I didn't realise how much of the circuit I knew until I talked myself around on that lap. Makes our Sunday outing look like two old dears with Zimmer's walking on a path around a pond !! I've got to work a plan that lets the let me go on the IOM trip in September ..................this call for some devious thinking ????
