There's no way you would catch me doing anything like that.

Anyone who willingly put themselves down there is truely mental. So very easy to die.
I like a bit of adventure as some of you know, but no way.
I used to scuba dive a lot in another life and got asked if I wanted to do some cave diving. Errrrrr. No.

I've done a fair bit of cavern diving Cookie but you are right, full cave diving is a different story. I'd be keen with the right crew and training, but I don't think that'll ever happen in my life now.C00kiemonster wrote:Anyone who willingly put themselves down there is truely mental. Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

I went caving as a kid with school and got stuck in a cork screw there was no way back so I had to some how squeeze through. Was not something I would ever want to repeat.

My Dad used to do that, and perhaps worse, leading parties of police cadets...think the worst they got stuck underground for two days...used to tertify my mother when he went off on those trips.
I remember.being at one of those SAR meetings as a small kid....the trouble with a lot of those caves is that they're a labyrinth....,,you stray off the known path very far, and nobody is going to come after you.

From what I recall of the stats most sport and hobbies involving horses is way more dangerous than riding a bike. However Caving is something on a whole different level, I'd give it a go, but wriggling through gaps like that? Not a cat in Hells chance.

What sort of Muppet could hurt themselves with a horse .?Deegee wrote:From what I recall of the stats most sport and hobbies involving horses is way more dangerous....
I only ever tried potholing once, I didn't enjoy it at all.: Cold, damp, uncomfortable, and tedious. To my mind it was an the only adrenaline sport that scared me without leaving me breathless (if you follow what I mean).
