Cheers Spudda. I can highly recommend the compression underwear.

Its better quality than all the more expensive brands.

Cheers Spudda.

Never been here before but heard good reviews and fancy getting some of the kit.
Is it a bun fight and scrap with people queing outside to get in as can't be bothered with that but don't mind being there early just could do without a scrap for some cheap underwear.

Not normally a fight for kit at our local Aldi, it normally sits there for a couple of weeks untouched tbh, I'll be looking for a couple of those cheapie neck warmers for next winter, or maybe even this one if it makes a comeback.

P.S. The Chorizo in Aldi is pretty decent too.

As DeeGee says, theres no hassles really .... only problem with Aldi is people do their weekly shop there and they tend to only have a few tills open, so you could be stuck behind 4 or 5 full trolleys when your only getting a few pieces. Having said that, their is an Aldi etiquette where people see you only have a couple of items and ask if you'd like to go in front of them

Well I was there 10 minutes after opening time and the car park was rammed full.

Got instore and items already proving very popular with virtually all jackets , trousers and boots gone baring one pair. I managed to get what I wanted in compression underwear and windproof layers but got the very last medium in all items so just in the nick of time.

Cheers for the heads ups Spudda.

Been down and topped up with compression layers , socks and a couple of buffs.
I have been getting this stuff every year when it comes out, wears well and works.
Still loads left in the New Ferry store ;)

Tried kit on and happy especially with the compression underwear. Very good fit.

I answered the door in it and the wife, brother in law and kids thought I was the bionic man, haha.

Get yourself to Aldi !

Post by Zx10dale »

You probably already know they do bike stuff periodically , most might be ok for your dad, but they do have a good selection of one piece underwear and other wind chill protection stuff. I only have a one piece summer leathers so early part of year can be chilly, this stuff is great and at a fraction of regular bike shop pricing. It's a no brainer !!
