Mobile Phone Cameras
I'm due a new phone soon. I've got an HTC One x+ which does me fine.
I use my camera a lot on my phone. Any recommendations for a phone that's fast when browsing and has a good camera? Especially for close up stuff.

Re: Mobile Phone Cameras
I have a Samsung S4 Mini. It's ok, but that's about it. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, so that's one you can cross off the list!

I'm going to say Apple, but not the latest one get the 5s. As a point and shoot camera it's hard to beat and as a web browser it's unbeatable.

Oh, I've got my eye on one of those.. How do you find it ??Ghostbusta wrote:I have a Oneplus one and the camera is pretty decent, much better than my old iphone
My biggest concern is that it's huge and doesn't fit in your pocket.

Re: Mobile Phone Cameras
I think I'm going to go for the LG G3. The reviews seem to be good, excellent camera, good battery life and you can swap the batteries so I can carry a spare. The HTC battery doesn't last long and you can't swap it.

Re: Mobile Phone Cameras
I always go for the camera function on the phone too, saves me having to buy more things! Usually Sony's have won it for me!

How's the new phone then Kwacky? My Nexus 5 died recently and the insurance have been on to tell me they have none in stock so I need a new phone...

Re: Mobile Phone Cameras
I love it. Big screen, great definition, very fast. Battery seems to last as well.
I've not had much of a play yet but the camera is easy to use.

Re: Mobile Phone Cameras
Gonna try and have a look later. Is it waterproof? High end phones these days seem to come with some sort of nano coating or summat which water is supposed to bead off. Youtube videos of people dunking their phone carefully in the bath look good but would it survive getting flung into a glass of beer for example? It happens!

Re: Mobile Phone Cameras
It doesn't say that it is and the usual ports are open.
However, tests suggest that it usually survives http://www.phonearena.com/news/Is-the-L ... lf_id57990" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
