Re: What tv
There used to be a recommended distance to be sat away from a big TV for best effect.
I see some of these huge TV's in small rooms and frankly its a waste of money, so many buy them to make up for other inadequacies.

Most likely to be response times, colour quality and if the pixels per inch goes up the cost goes up. It's easier for them to produce a big tv with the same amount of pixels.Jack wrote:I cant work out why I can get a 49 inch 4k lcd smart tv for £650 but cant get a 30 - 32 inch 4k monitor for less than £1k .
Your monitor will be way better than any equivalent tv.

Re: What tv
It might be worth doing a search for colour settings for your new TV. A forum is bound to have the best setting.

Re: What tv
The cheap 49" 4k screen will only run up to 30Hz on a PC and will be a horrible laggy experience. Have a look at 27" 2560 x 1440 monitors, some real bargains about around 300 quid.Jack wrote:I cant work out why I can get a 49 inch 4k lcd smart tv for £650 but cant get a 30 - 32 inch 4k monitor for less than £1k .
