If your going from android to android, then doesn't your new phone sync with the same gmail account that had all your contacts in it from the old one?

Some of them have moved across, but not all. I'm still at work so I've not hooked it up to sync with everything but I know some of the numbers I had were on the sim, some were on the phone and some were on the google account.
