The Beeb have digitised all the Radio times for decades back, you can see what was on the BBC the day you were born. I'd like to say there was something interesting on when I was born, but unfortunately not, looks like it was the shipping forecast....

That is really cool.

Apparently BBC were showing the Film "The Third Man" was being broadcast on my birthday, then Raymond Baxter commentating the coverage of the Le Mans 24hr race. Over on the Third programme, there was a reading of Wilfred Owen in York Minster, entitled "All a poet can do today is warn". :|
