NEC Bike show November 2014
I think I'll be going this year. There are a few bikes I want to look at. Plus I want some Rukka gear. I reckon it'll be easier to try the gear on and buy it there with a hope of a discount than to buy online.
Anyone else going? If so which day?

I've never been. Really fancy a little look at the H2r if it's there, not like I'm going to see one anywhere else! Apart from that what's it like?

It's like a massive motorbike show room. Loads of bikes, clothing stalls and evnets going on.
I stopped going for a while as it got boring but if you've not been before it's worth it.

Re: NEC Bike show November 2014
You didn't mention the Carole Nash stand Kwacky.
It's basically like a big (& very busy) motorbike shop IMHO. Fwiw I certainly wouldn't bother to make the treck every year.
Having said that, it's far easier to access for you lads, almost on your doorstep.!

Re: NEC Bike show November 2014
Missed it for a lot years as became less of a show and more of a jumble sale to sell cheap rubbish IMO.
Went last year and pleasantly surprised as much improved and now has live action shows open to the general public which previously had been a chargeable extra.
Might go this year as so many new bikes and as the new R1 isn't realised until November could be the first place to see it.

I go most years got a good deal on my RST race suit last year, don't really need anything apart from a new pair of gloves but I'll be there this year not sure which day yet, you can normally get some good deals on the last day.
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Re: NEC Bike show November 2014
Went 2 years ago, thought it was boring TBH. Got a balaclava thrown at me by some bimbo on one stand. Got home and tried it on (the balaclava ) and it had a tear in it and it was too small for my fat head. Bloody rip off!

Re: NEC Bike show November 2014
Like others I've been disillusioned in the past with what was essentially a rag-tag of stands flogging stuff, showing stuff, some new bikes and a selection of totally random stands that you'd struggle to link to motorcycles. Fingers crossed its better this year, not sure if I'll be going yet as I don't know what November holds for me, fingers crossed though.

Re: NEC Bike show November 2014
I have always tried to sign up for the off road experience there but every year it's already fully booked when I get there. I go there as soon as the doors open but get told "sorry, we are booked up until Thursday"

So who's up for going on the Monday? I'll need to book my holiday soon at work to make sure I can get the day off.
