We used to have poppadoms that you brushed with oil and microwaved, they would turn from what looked like a piece of card into a lovely crisp poppadom in under a minute. I zapped that one for 2.30 mins and it was still only half done. As I said I've had better and the rest went in the bin.
Am currently eating the remains of the curry last night turned into a mongrel Mulligatawny soup. Yum!
Have just finished eating nicely rare roast beef, yorkshires, roast tatties, leeks in cheese sauce, peas and carrots. Oh and a couple of glasses of wine, feeling very mellow now.
If I call it "pre-work out rather than fat bastard fancied a snack after work" I won't feel so guilty.
You know something....I've never had a bowl of porridge....same with a PB&J. Actually, thinking about it, there's tons of stuff I've never tried....never had any kind of Indian food, for example...don't even know what it is.
Not a fan of porridge or peanut butter, I like oats and I like peanuts, just not some of the things they do with them, personally oats are great in flapjacks and peanuts can hope for no better life than in peanut brittle.
Our greengrocer had some fresh figs in yesterday and I was sooo tempted (like them with yogurt & honey), but managed to escape with just the fresh ginger I went in for. Hence we were eating a stir fry last night, ginger was required for the sauce.

Recon if scientist looked hard enough they'd find traces of the above in men's DNA
Roast beef, (home made) Yorkshire puddings, roast and boiled potatoes, steamed brocolli, carrot, green beans and baby corn and homemade red wine gravy. That was bloody great!
