Re: Tyre fitting
There was a place on the Bristol road near Northfield. Not sure if it's still there. I'll check later on.

Re: Tyre fitting
'twas £15.50 a wheel at streetbike and took just over an hour but they have a pretty big shop to look round and a café in store too so I was kept busy.Tuffers wrote:The only place I know is Sheldon Motorcycles, £15, but a bit far from Edgbarston. Re: Tyre fitting
Jees! £31 to fit tyres onto loose wheels?!
Just as well I'm from a family of bikers. We each chipped in £20 and bought everything needed to change tyres and balance wheels.
It's much easier than you think.

Re: Tyre fitting
As it happens, I got the abba tyre changing and balancing kit somewhere but I ripped the garage apart and couldn't find it which is why I went to the shop to get it done I assume this is why people have tidy garages :-/Roadrace wrote:Jees! £31 to fit tyres onto loose wheels?!

I found the balancing stand but not the other bits, I'm sure it will all turn up now I have swapped them though.

Re: Tyre fitting
To be honest, mine is closer to a true cave than anything else, not even a man cave. The roof leaks, the door is knackered and the gf filled it with crap to the point where you need to climb over things at about waist height to even see the back, coupled with the cobwebs I feel like an extra from an Indiana jones movie every time I go in there. I can even see a car bonnet in there from a car neither of us own, may have been one of her brothers.
One day i'll get round to clearing it out, fixing the floor, the roof, the doors and replacing the windows but I put up a metal motorbike garage in the mean time and she half filled that with things like a couple of BBQ's and the like.
