Speedway
Its been over 30years since I last went but Spudlet 3 Cub Troop were going so I decided to tag along and took Spudlet2 (Petrolhead) with me .... and I'm glad I did
I left Spudlet 3 with his cub troop and took Spudlet 2 higher up in the terraces but asked one of the leaders if their was a pick walk or anything like that. He said they had been given a slot at the end of heat 5.
So at the end of heat 5, I blended in to the rest of the leaders and Spudlet 2 with the cubs
Full pit walk and even got to stand in the middle of the infield during one of the heats
What a top night and glad I went

Re: Speedway
Nice. It's a good sport for kids, nice and noisy and very quick so no chance for boredom

Re: Speedway
Blimey, that brings back some memories, used to go and watch the Speedway and oval circuit racing at Ipswich in my teens, the smells of race bikes and hot dog vans is very evocative.

Re: Speedway
Please do. I loved trying to make that motocross bike rear slide back in the summer ( albeit only a little) and would love the opportunity to try it the next stage on.
