Tragic news made even worse by the cowardly actions of the man or woman responsible.

Tragic I hope they find the weasel ,my dad was hit and run and had over 150 stitches in his face ,the driver when caught after a radio appeal got a warning and £150 fine
They need to grow some balls and start getting tough on people who commit these crimes

Who says they can't? It's likely that the driver has disappeared. Probably waiting for the drugs to get out of his system.
