Woke up this morning rather crook. Coughing, sweating, massive headache and the squirts. Reported to the medic and neg on Covid but isolated all the same. Medic reckons a good chance I’ll go positive on a RAT in the coming days. So 5-7 days stuck in a cabin room with no windows 🤦🏻

Jess has come down with the same as well
:? Deany seems to have the same.!

My neck....when I twist my head from side to side, or up, down, etc. it sounds/feels like there's an empty crisp packet inside my upper vertebrae. It's been doing it for a little while now. It's not painful as such, but it's a bit disconcerting to say the least.

I'm back to work tonight after a few days off with a flu type bug, running a fever, shivering and having sea legs was not fun for a day or 2, it did give me some time to revise my CV though.

Back on shift today, didn’t test positive at all and feeling a lot better. No 100% but my role hasn’t been backfilled so the management and myself were keen for me to be back out. In a mask till the cough disappears though.

Come home with a migraine.. 2 in 2 months, I wonder if work stress has anything to do with this.

(^^day sarcasm.. just can't function enough to make that obvious)

Stress is likely a big part of it. I’d be going to your GP and getting some rest matey.

Take care.

So during yesterday’s adventurous day I took a tumble.

Not doing anything stupid, I was waiting for the others to catch up, and looking upwards to them. Stepped back ever so slightly with back for to get a bit more stability, and unbeknown to me, stepped onto a slippery fallen branch, lost my footing, fell backwards about 1.5m onto a large pointy rock in the square of my lumbar, flipping my over lengthwise and continued to do a couple more tumbles till I stopped by grabbing some tree roots. Completely winded, seeing stars and considerable pain in my lower back.

Managed to shake it off, get to the waterfall and wash all the injuries. Back was sore, but not too bad. Walked out ok

Woke this morning and I couldn’t move. Finally got up and Jess took me to an after hours clinic. Booked in for an X-ray tomorrow. Doing a little better tonight but still stiff and sore. Gin and Panadol medications atm

X_Rays is clear and today back seems to feel a lot better than it has. Few other good bruises coming out. My elbow is pretty missed up but hadn’t even noticed with all the back issues.

I've woken up with a sore throat. I'm hoping that's all it's going to be. I'm prone to tonsillitis.
