I didn't mind paying taxes if the money is being used for public services and everyone is paying their share

Close the loopholes and avoidance schemes

As expected the Bank of England has increased interest rates by 0.75% to 3.0%

This is the largest single rise in 33 years.

BoE are warning that the recession has started and could be the UKs longest ever.
