Sad sight to see.

I know it's easy to have a pop at him and other well off people like Winehouse who have suffered at the hands of booze, but this graphically illustrates the damage booze does to people, regardless of who you are.

I doubt any of his mates are around to help him out.

its scary how much damage alcohol has done, terrible illness, well any addiction really

Blimey. He's unrecognisable.

Problem is he's had plenty of chances and help. Nowhere to go from here I guess.

Poor lad, I really don't like football, but to see someone that had the world at his feet 25yrs ago be destroyed by his addiction is awful.
I wonder if he'd have been ok if he'd been a plasterer, mechanic or a lorry driver - something without the maelstrom of excess he was thrown into as a top footie player. Sometimes I'm glad I'm not rich. :|

I still think he would have drunken himself into oblivion,you are either an addictive person or your not
