I will try not to loose this one.
I lost that one, got another coming today but this time it's the cheapest decent sized torch ebay had to offer, if they're going to get lost or stolen then basic is the way.

A new backpack for cycling. My £12 Aldi special one keeps getting the straps ripped off. Still, 1 year out of that backpack is good for the money I just feel bad it's more cheap tat going into landfill.

Ha!
I can't afford it. The electricity costs alone would be enough to put me off. At least the spiders don't need lighting, filters and separate heating.

Brake pads for the MV
I don't think I'll have time this weekend to fit them. There's no rush

A nice box from Evotech, a radiator guard for the 900XR. I always fit Evotech rad guards, don't know why I dislike other brands but something about these pleases me enough for a 'tight Yorkshireman' to open his wallet.

Re: Mr Postman
I sold a house (capital gains tax) and earned more than I ever have due to all the OT in quarantine last tax year. My tax bill this year was higher than what I was earning gross when I first moved to Aussie. Work had also miscalculated tax on our OT payments.Kwacky wrote:Fish food.

New grips for the bicycle. I get numb fingers and a sore thumb after a long ride with my current grips

Re: Mr Postman
....Try not hooking your thumbs under/around the grips until you have to (downhills, rough ground,etc.)....I had the same issues for ages, tried different grips, bars, levers, etc. Changing my hand positioning solved it all almost immediately.

Re: Mr Postman
I mostly ride with my thumb on top (I used to lift weights the same way) but the thumb muscle pad hurts really quickly.
These new grips (Ergon GA2 FAT) were much better on all but semi-paved/semi-rocky canal path.

A nice shiny new OnePlus 10 Pro, the OnePlus 7 Pro has been faultless for 3 years now but I fancied an upgrade as a reward for clearing the credit cards with this new job
The 7 will be kept as a backup.
