Yeah, just what that bike needed.... More power and less weight (fubar)

I test rode the first 1290 a couple if years ago, fecking mental.. proper power wheelies in 4th with no effort at all.

A mate has got a 2019 model. He's spent a small fortune on it. It's a beast. it's not bad to ride but that power and the extra loud exhaust could get a bit tiresome for me.

It was a comfy bike to ride and fun, the standard exhaust is pretty good as well.

It's the one bike that could do without KTM's binary throttle though.
