The shoulder is fine. That was part of the reason for getting the turbo trainer. I can sit on the bike and pedal. Cycling on the road was too painful for the shoulder. All the bumps and vibrations were felt.

I'm doing bits of physio in-between sprints.

After a 2 years break due to unforeseen circumstances I'm back to running (shuffling) about 15k a week. Feel a lot better for it both mentally and physically.

Just been for my second run of the week. Desperately needed to get back to some exercise and its good to be outside without ice and bitter cold.

I've quite enjoyed running in the Buxton winter weather, certainly wakes you up and makes you feel alive! I have to run before I eat so I've been running in the dark at 6am 3 times a week. The worst part is walking through the door, especially if it's raining/hailing sideways.

I went for a cycle in the woods, 1.5 hours later and I was absolutely exhausted. Lots of climbing and also a couple of DH trails on my scary old MTB.

The satisfying thing is that I managed to keep up with 2 guys on £3500 carbon fibre full suspension MTBs. Riding blind I also managed to ride a drop and double for the first time. It was really great!

I nearly vomited a few times with the climbs. My knee held up really well though.

I had moved my bike out of the bedroom into the garage in the hope I could start getting some short rides in after work.

Forecast for this week was clear.

Forecast for this week now - snow all week (facepalm)

I’ve walked a minimum of 6 km every day of quarantine, a couple of days 8 km.

I’ve also been doing body weight workouts from YouTube each day.

Really starting to feel good and enjoying exercising again. Won’t know if I’ve lost more weight in here till I get home, but feels like I have.
