Interesting article. You can see in reality the EU holds the majority of the cards..regardless of what Johnson says.

Re: Brexit thread
A total fcuk up..... If your going to do something this monumental you have to have your ducks lined up, with plan B.C,D... all ready and in plenty of time. Regardless of who is doing the negotiations, after all it for a whole bloody country.
But NO! everything left to the last minute..... way too many issues up in the air, the outcome is not going to be good for us or the wider world.
It just beggars belief this whole shit show is down to the wire!!! I think I should have posted in what do you want to moan about thread ha ha, as this is not a question or requires answers... Just a moan.

Re: Brexit thread
If anyone needs any decent food bringing over then I am travelling from the Dordogne to Dorset by car on Monday. On second thoughts, I am an EU resident and will respect what the UK voted for and only bring lots of red wine for my own Christmas consumption, and the rest of you can buy British red wine.

And occasional decent red wine TBH.
Halfpenny Green vineyard not far from me makes a great red award winning Rondo. Not cheap mind.

Re: Brexit thread
And in other news, who would have thunk it. the EU says No deal is better than a bad deal for them.
And German car manufacturers are not cajoling the EU to do a deal at any cost to appease them.
I wonder how many people now feel very stupid for believing Farage, Johnson, Cummings etc?

A lot of intelligent people voted for Brexit... not realising they were being told lies by the politicians.D41 wrote:Well... stupid people never really realize that they're stupid, do they?duke63 wrote:

Re: Brexit thread
Full time professional liar and political flip-flopper Johnson reckons the reason why we've not got a deal yet is because the EU are being unreasonable.
I mean we've had 4 years 3, prime minsters, 2 elections and wasted billions so far to sort this shit out so why not leave it until days before the deadline to blame the other side?

Re: Brexit thread
Because the plan was always to leave it to the last minute. The EU will always cave to the almighty great britain because we have a larger world standing than the EU....Kwacky wrote:Full time professional liar and political flip-flopper Johnson reckons the reason why we've not got a deal yet is because the EU are being unreasonable.

Re: Brexit thread
The new line from the Tory party is that Johnson was talking about the Withdrawal Agreement. Not a deal with the EU.
