Watching the snow and a shopping trip.
I'm trying to sell some snow tyres on eBay so maybe this will spur a buyer to place a bid...

As for the her following you about, that sounds like a lady that wasn’t entirely convinced on the adoption process, or has regrets afterwards. I don’t know if you know the situation behind why, but if not might be the time to find out.
Well....she was 16 or 17 years old at the time. Her mother - so I guess my maternal grandmother, forced her to give me up. And apparently granny is still alive at 94, and STILL thinks it's a bad idea for us to have any contact.
The funny thing was, back in '89, right before I moved here, I sat in a club & had a drink with my mother, with absolutely no idea who she was.
The conversation went "that way" and I thought she was drunk, or crazy, or both....there was a bit of a scene, I suppose.
I told my Dad about it, he said yep, that would've been her. And then only a month after I'd moved here she'd been in touch with him ... so he ended up telling her I'd moved overseas.

You gave her a baby, tell her to stop being so needy, or if you must, a nice set of race slicks should do the trickCav wrote:Trying to find a Christmas present or a few for my Wife.. besides slippers, they're actually items for baby but cute for her to open.

Re: What are you doing today ??
The internet upgrade from Sky went active on Thursday.
Except it didn't.
Instead it just stopped!
In making the switch the engineer appears to have failed to complete the job, so instead of having the superfast internet we were expecting we have been rationing out my data from my mobile.
I had to leave my phone at home on Friday so my daughter could do her online lessons. Even though I was working I felt naked without it!
And the house this weekend felt like we'd had a power cut! Without the internet to suck away our soul we've had to do stuff offline, like talk to each other and stuff!!!
The boy didn't seem to understand my several reminders that if he carried on watching YouTube he would use up his data.
He does now!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Although my breaks are longer (by 1-2 weeks) I’m now working 50/50 where before I was working 40/60. So I’m away twice as long each trip and have less time ratio at home. They have increased our pay to compensate but it doesn’t make it any easier being away for a so long.Cav wrote:Good things with the new roster is more time at home on your time off though!!kiwikrasher wrote:Counting down to getting home.....

Dismantling our spare double bed and chest of drawers for my cousin to have. The same cousin whose baby we put ourselves up for emergency foster.
