Took the Ducati out. Wasnt really feeling it.
Fuelled up, came out of petrol station and nearly high sided it with very little revs. That pool on the station floor must have been diesel.
Went straight home.

I feel your pain, brother.Spudda wrote:Got the leathers and lid on
Rolled her out
Pressed the starter
Got **** all
Rolled her back in
Took off the leathers (still in a pile in the lounge)
Borrowed a battey charger
Now watching the LED's to see if its a new battery or not
Hopefully an easy fix like mine was.

Spent some time cleaning the MV. Looks like the last owner used a Brillo pad for the back wheel.

Replaced the dodgy heated grip controller and found 2/3 bolts on the gear shifter were loose, thought it felt a little spongy. Then put a ram mount on the sat-nav holder for the phone case, fits well and not in the way of anything so all good for my next day off.
After doing that twice as a wiring connection fell off I gave it a good wash and dry, came up nice and shiny with that Gtechniq C2 on there.
It was nice to have a relaxed tinker day

Went out mid morning for a little run, was nice, but very very busy with traffic which takes the shine off a good ride.
I have to say some of the riding was as shocking as some of the drivers.
Did not spend too much time out.... had to hoot some kites out of the road lol.....

I went out first thing. Nice ride on roads i have not visited for a while. One of my fave twisty roads is being resurfaced.
Really wish a few more coffee places were open for outside serving. I bet by the time they do re open it will be pissing down every day.

I am taking a trip out to see the family I have not seen in a lot of weeks.... we will be in the garden, 2m apart
Will be a bit of a run out on the bike, never a chore when the weather is like this. Each time I have got out it has been in the summer jacket.... what a feeling that it.

No tax, insurance or MOT so go for it so long as you replace it when it gets impounded
