Took the car for a puncture repair, had Virgin Media install our TV, Broadband and Phone, and now I'm eating Easter eggs and scones while working... and obviously enjoying a coffee for good measure.
Elsie enjoyed getting out this morning which is rare, she would rather stay in bed until lunch!

Just another 12 hr shift, unless it turns into a 14 hr shift like yesterday’s shitfight did.
4 more days.... feels like forever since I’ve been at home. There wasn’t even any restrictions on life when I left for work last month

Going into work to trial whether we can deliver training to students whilst we're all wearing military respirators.
The worst part was having to shave the beard off. Having done so, I can only apologise to those of you who have had the misfortune of looking at my face previously.
The kids have both recoiled as they've seen me without it and even the wife now looks at me with a hint of disgust.

Doing my bit and staying in at home apart from when I am taking the dog out or at work
Anyone else notice people actually giving room to everyone now and also everyone saying hello, good morning good evening etc. People have actually become a joy to see now as everyone wants to be well away from ya, only taken a killer bug to go around to actually bring back some curiosity and politeness when out

We can but hope. Our village is pretty polite anyway and a lot of people know each other and chat anyway.Kwacky wrote:Yeah, I've noticed the same. The optimist in me goes it carries on.
Today with be P.E. with Joe Wicks, followed by a 5k run round the village. The helping the kids do school work before heading off to Morrisons for a late shift.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Work out done, still fat ! Goes and eats too much breakfast feeling depressed lol.....
Sorted out the chainsaw, packed up on me!!! Turns out after stripping the whole thing down, i pushed an emergency switch (nothing says it is, instructions are useless) so that is ready to go, once i get the the oil delivered to keep the chain running. Cant believe all that bloody work and nothing wrong with it.
Finished off the office tidy up.... Soooooo much clutter !!!.
moved a bloody heavy side board in the front room to clean up behind it... oh what a load of crap!!!
Now time for a coffee, listen to Ken and pop master, now listening to Minni in the background, love this song....
All this and its only half 10 !! I think I will sit in the garden for a bit now lol..... i think I have burnt myself out too soon.

It was a friends funeral today, not allowed to attend so I have just been keeping out of the way after a walk earlier to clear my head.
I cut the grass just for something to do as it didn't really need it.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I'm trying to learn how to use SAP. What the actual F.
I've come from Infor's Syteline which wasn't great but it's much easier than SAP. I can't even follow a tutorial because I don't have the same options as the sheet.
In better news, my other colleagues who took the Solidworks exam also passed.

Ah.. SAP. The most complex and profitable and consultancy led computer system I've ever worked with. I used to work in an SAP consultancy about 20 years ago. Hugely profitable.Cav wrote:I'm trying to learn how to use SAP. What the actual F.

Re: What are you doing today ??
That doesn't surprise me to be honest. Make it so complicated it's easier to consult it away.
I enjoy a challenge but when stuff that's supposed to exist doesn't exist I get pissed off quick haha. I've saved that lesson for the day I actually need it, I was just trying to stay ahead of that particular curve.
Oh and FYI, I had gotten 260 miles on 2 bars of fuel (quarter of the tank) then it dropped to half a tank over the next 20 miles. Wonderful! Average for the tank is still high 43s.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Sounds about right. I get about 45-50 on average. On a long run it does 55.Cav wrote:That doesn't surprise me to be honest. Make it so complicated it's easier to consult it away.

We use SAP in the oil & gas industry. It’s not very intuitive but very powerful when you know how to drive it.
