Well, half of one. Got to start gradually.

Re: What are you eating ??
We had a pork meal last night, I dont tend to eat pork (unless its bacon) because as a kid I was fed it a fair amount but my mum couldn't cook it so it was always dry and tough, so it's always lived on on my head that, that is how it will always taste. My misses cooked it lovely last night. I wouldn't say no to it again!

Yeah. My Mom used to cook the hell out of a pork roast, too.
It's like she was trying to re-animate the pig via electrocution & fire.
She'd give you a couple of slices of pork that looked (and tasted) like brake pads & could absorb pint-after-pint of gravy without ever showing the slightest sign of surface moisture. No deformation whatsoever. Absolutely amazing.

Well, I tried a bite a couple of years ago, didn't like it. Otherwise, yeah. That was a Granny Smith.kiwikrasher wrote:Ever???Itchy wrote:My first ever apple.

Yesterday it was a Pink Lady. Which was quite sweet.

Does that mean you’ve never had apple pie/crumble etc???

Re: What are you eating ??
Apple Pie - never.
Apple Crumble - my mum scraped the top off for me a few times.
And although it sounds ridiculous, as I was eating the apple I was thinking that it tasted just like apple juice! I mean of course it does, but for the last few years I haven't minded apple juice but couldn't stomach the idea of eating an actual apple!!!

Re: What are you eating ??
I subsisted on apples when I was a kid. Up to 11-12 years old...probably 4-5 a day.
Never touched them since. Can't stand them.

Try doing a toastie sandwich with thin slices of apple and sprinkled with cinnamon... bloody delicious!
