Of to my doc for clearance hopefully. Expect my medical officer has just sent me a letter to present to her and IMO it paints her into a corner where she will unlikely clear me now.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.
Produced some hooks for spare tracks out of paper clips. Didn't come out too smoothly but its war, I wouldn't of been prefect! Plus can hook up spare bits of the track to the worse offenders and leave the good ones without anything hooked up
Those look decent enough as-is. They would've been improvised "in-the-field" anyway.
Part of one of your old hairnets, rolled up & painted, will look like camo netting....helps to fudge things a little bit. A rolled-up bandage for an awning, tent, etc
Sandbags are always a good shout.
I mean, those guys took EVERYTHING with them.
Every good model should tell a story....what your's says is entirely up to you.

Very good words D
I love the idea of a hair net for a netting. I may take a closer look into seeing where that leads later on in the final stages. I like that idea, thank you

Would love to see yours D6. I used to do loads when I was a youngster and then life took hold and I stopped. 12 years later and I'm now on my second 1 in 3 months!
Today mostly been doing my model to be honest. Tomorrow back to the grind so 6 weeks off (plus 1 week in between which was working) now comes to an end! Loved the time off but couldn't afford to live like this
These are tiny parts - the MG42 that I have pictured is absolutely tiny, my eyes could only just see what I was doing!! Tracks have had rust inbetween and then silver paint dry brushed on top to just have it on the exposed areas to make it look like it's been rolling around on concrete

To be honest I'm not so much a scale modeller, more a gaming modeller. I've got tonnes, so what is on my phone is always changing as I run out of memory. Lol. But here's a selection

They all look amazing. I particularly like your air ship, that looks brilliant
So how do you paint them? Do you use a airbrush and brushes or brushes exclusively?
First week off work and I've had 4 interviews for 3 jobs. I like all the companies I've seen, 2 of the roles stand out more than the one I saw today. My favourite role also have the biggest salary and best perks but it'll be a challenging first year for certain!
Cooking a bacon sandwich before I sort my emails, look for more jobs then head out to the pub with some biker friends.

Not a bad way to end the week...

Good walkabout with the camera this morning, why is it all the good sunrises are during the week when I am working !!! a bit of a grey morning.
Looks like all the major parks are being shut tomorrow, I supposed they dont want the trees falling on the punters!!!
Took the bike out for a nutty one this afternoon, dont know what came over me, but it was fun lol.......
Tomorrow will be hunkered down in doors if the forecast is correct.
