Sorry to be the one who had to tell you.
........WHAT??????
Then the big, talk hairy Wookiee I was speaking to yesterday must have been a figment off my imagination...
The Falcon was out of our price range, plus I hear the seats are uncomfortable.

Nothing. I've got the day off and I'm doing nothing.
It's ace.

Should try the assessment I have just done, I used maths skills which I haven't even thought about since high school 21 years ago! I'm sure there's steam coming from my head.
I missed a couple of the maths questions, I clicked submit on the 2nd to last as the time ran out. Got all the verbal reasoning ones answered and found them much easier than last night.
Time will tell, why do I need to work out multiple percentages, add them together then average them to sell tickets on a train again? I'm not sure that anything above the basic stuff which I use every day is really needed... Anyway, I re-learned that skill.
A quick bite to eat and I'm off back to finish my shift.

Just received news that my gearbox is being sent back to me today! Should be able to fit it next weekend and also swap the radiators over.
Does anyone have an evotech radiator protector for my bike laying around?

Off to that there London with the wife for an overnight stay.
We both desperately needed an escape.
And guess what? The chaos on the motorways nearly caused us to miss the train. Made it with minutes to spare despite initially giving ourselves loads of spare time.

Not working today.
Flushing my central heating system, after having mended a faulty valve & installing a magnetic filter.

Rang my car insurance up and created a multi car policy with my misses. Saving me £40 and saving her approx £100. So together approx £140 saved in the kitty! Not bad for a 30min phone call

Had an interesting day today.
First off visited the National Gallery and saw some fabulous works of art - Turner, Monet, Cezanne, Cavelleto, Constable, Van Gogh. Never been before.
Then went down to Portobello Road and walked round the market. Proper street market.

Dunno, it was just a stock photo of the UBP I was buying. Generally people get 2” lift here as that is the legal limit. I’m going for a slightly smaller lift when I get my suspension upgrade as I’m not going to be going crazy off-road and getting up to the limits of lift can cause premature CV failures

Not a bad way to get ahead. I did the same when I was younger and in the Airforce. Worked weekends and a few week nights in a service station. Actually really enjoyed that job.
