Re: What you watching?
My misses has been watching a program called 'The Missing' it's a few years old now but she's on to the second series so I've joined in watching it. Very much lile 'Line of duty' keeps you thinking episode to episode

Some show about narcotic smuggling through the US/Mexico border crossings. Tearing cars & trucks apart, etc....these smugglers get quite creative.

I'm really enjoying Star Trek, very well written and acted IMO.

Well I tried to watch MotoGP via the TV, but my LG TV doesn't support Flash.kiwikrasher wrote:I get none and my internet here is 10-12 mbps at best.Kwacky wrote:I get loads of buffering when I watch videos off the MotoGP site.

I can cast the laptop to the TV but the TV only shows what's happening on the laptop.
I managed to reduce the buffering by changing the settings to 720. Still a decent quality video so no real complaints. I reckon it's my laptop as the quality is spot on when I use my phone.

I usually stream it through my iPad and cast it to TV via Apple TV, upscales to 1080p.

Re: What you watching?
An Australian interview with Sir David Attenborough.
What an amazing man. His main worry is the rate of population growth is going to destroy the planet within a handful of generations. I tend to agree. He said in the history of the world never has the whole planet tackled a problem together. He said that needs to happen to prevent catastrophe. Very sobering.
The presenter (Rove McManus) had flown 20 hrs to interview him and was only on the ground 4 hrs before flying back to Aussie. Sir David asked him how long he got to enjoy the UK, when told he said “you poor barstard”

Yes - one of our best and greatest. He's made some amazing programs in his many years and even ran some areas of the BBC for a while.kiwikrasher wrote:An Australian interview with Sir David Attenborough.
