Sorry to hear that Stonesie! It's crap news but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and something better is around the corner
Today's a uni day. I'm staying at home to work on my dissertation with breaks to fit my chain and to see my friend and have cuddles with her baby It's nice when babies aren't yours.. you just hand them back when they sh!t or cry

School canteen duties. Cooked up 80 serves of fried rice and nearly 100 jelly cups, and because we are all eco friendly now spent an hour doing dishes for all the cutlery, cups and plates.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I went out for a meal with Perkles last night.
He's not forgotten us. He's off the internet and getting his life sorted. His divorce has gone through, he's renting a house, he's also bought a house which he'll move into in the summer and he's got a new job which he's really enjoying.
He went to Mexico at the end of last year for some stem cell therapy. He's getting better but he's still in pain.
Anyway, he passes on his regards and says he'll be back once he's got his life on course again.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yesterday my misses signed a new contract for a new car. She has a nice car (hot hatch) but because of the wedding and honeymoon she really needs to save a few more quid so yesterday we looked into getting something different. She has signed a new contract for a new 108 and she will be saving approx £100 per month on payments which will go onto wedding payments
Then popped to a garden centre called Redfields. Lovely place (god I must be getting old!)
Then to halfords

Reading through all the journals, papers and articles I found back in December for my Literature Review, highlighting and commenting items of interest and then planning them into the review itself.
My target is 1500-2000 words talking about material selection and Additive Manufacturing VS Conventional Methods.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Like it Frankie Some times heavy pruning is called for.
Last time I did some pruning, I used an Axe and it would be fair to say the missus believed I may have been a little over heavy with its use, when she returned home some hours late to a dramatically thinned out garden

I had to prune back the neighbours hedge with a chainsaw when fitting the roof to the workshop.. I started with secateurs and very quickly escalated to the chain saw
