Deegee wrote:Having a tooth pulled is the most barbaric medical procedure I’ve ever gone through, and that’s with a top dentist that lectures in Med School and does supervisory work for the BDA, don’t go with a chancy dentist Rossgo and if possible get knocked out for it.
The infection is gone now. Just waiting to hear back with a referral to get them pulled. Still hurts when I open my mouth up too wide but not as bad as it was!!kiwikrasher wrote:Yeah they won’t pull them out if they are infected. They like you to clear the infection first. Then just get someone to pull the full set out. Just trouble down the road anyways. I got my first pulled out then next time got the remaining three pulled. Military Dentist, it was quite brutalRossgo wrote:Yesterday didn't go exactly to plan. Ended up goo g to the dentist, then to the walk in clinic to get an x-ray of my teeth and then back to the dentist to drop off the x-ray. I have had pain for a week now in my wisdom tooth and the dentist said ive got an infection so he's given me antibiotics. He's also recommended to get possibly the bottom and top wisdom teeth out as they will only get worse. Wuite a routine issue so fingers crossed I'll get a date to get them yanked out soon!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yesterday I popped down to Infinity and bought a puncture repair kit. It's s screw one seems pretty good but only has one screw plug which means I'll need to get a few more somewhere but it has 4 air canisters with it whoch is good.
Also ordered a 2 pieve waterproof suit.
I ordered the
Aplinestar Flu Hurricane suit.
Hesrd mixed reviews but for £106 it best be blinking good. Haven't got it yet as i dont know what size I am so they ordered 2 sizes for me to try. Might be in store today

Checked last night's lottery ticket and got 6 numbers!
Shame that they were spread over 4 lines and netted £3.60... I will try not to spend it all at once

Re: What are you doing today ??
Been off to Basingstoke to look at a car with my dad. Then off to Infinity and I grabbed a new tinted visor for my RPHA 11 as the last one broke. And also considering picking up a Kriega US 30 Combo. I have the 10lt so should connect up to make a 40lt. But that's all dependant on if the bike looks ok with it all on and doesn't fall off because it's too big

Re: What are you doing today ??
Not today but from last week for quite a few weeks I'm in the UK renovating an old friends bungalow for him. It's something we enjoy doing and it's a very odd project.
He bought it 12 years ago to live in, had a few things like the kitchen and outside sorted, then all virtually at the same time his mother was diagnosed with bone cancer, his dad died and he had a massive (and i mean massive) water leak at the property, which wiped out the new kitchen, bathroom and ceilings of the house. So he had a lot on his plate and literally walked away from it, he's been mainly looking after his mother since - she's still going. I mean he hadn't been back for 11 years.
So we have been gutting it and looking for all the leaks this week / weekend - it needs almost everything doing, so hard work until it's cleared and sorted. 11 years of post / newspapers and charity bags - welded and rotting at the bottom was 3 ft high and 6ft wide in the kitchen
Remarkably the place had dried in the 11 years no one visited it. Mouldy in places, but dry.
Could take a while this

11 years of Council Tax he's paid out, that could have been a steady revenue stream from rental.
