I hope your right. It is very strange as nothing like that happens here. I'll pop back tomorrow (it's about 5 mins walk) and see if it's still there.StMarks wrote:Fwiw from what I can see from the tyre tracks, it looks like it was towed there .? -So I'm going to guess it'll be an insurance scam attempt.??C00kiemonster wrote:Helping the rozzers with their enquiries.

There is very little around here. I live in the middle of nowhere in the middle of France.Kwacky wrote:That's the only thing by his houseD41 wrote:Some nice countryside by your house.

Ducati Hypermtard, Fiat 500 and somewhere like that to live will do me fine. Grow my own fruit and veg.

Too far from the ocean for me. I always end up feeling claustrophobic when I'm any decent distance from the coast for any length of time.
Don't know how to explain it, I just feel very uneasy without a coastline as a reference point.

In terms of living in the UK I can't get much further away from the sea than I am here.

I’ve grown up next to the sea, my first house was literally a stones throw from the sea, I feel exactly the same.D41 wrote:Too far from the ocean for me. I always end up feeling claustrophobic when I'm any decent distance from the coast for any length of time.

Somehow even though I know I rarely go to the sea it’s comforting and reassuring knowing it’s there, it’s a bit like the old mate from your childhood who lives a few streets away that you can call in anytime and he’s pleased to see you or vice versa.

Australia Day here
Another giant slip & slide is under construction at Jess’ place.
My biggest job today will be balancing my alcohol intake at a point where I DON’T think jumping on the slip and slide or one of the numerous dirt bikes becomes a good idea.
“Sorry DR McMaster, I have no idea how my fusion screws came out”

or this for a FIFTH of the price or the price of a car. Enough space to move into and then spend a few grand doing the rest up how you want itduke63 wrote:Would make it worse still if we moved in. Shows how silly the house prices in the UK are now.

The UK economy is only kept solvent by continuously increasing house prices.
I can still see us selling up at some point and moving to France.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I agree with Kwacky. It will still be possible. Just not so easy and probably a bit more expensive.
Its just that it will no longer be a right as we are no longer EU citizens. Maybe.
