Re: What you watching?
Item on the news about a barber in New Jersey.
He's been cutting hair for......
96 years!!
....And is about to turn 108. Still drives himself to work every day. As yet, apparently has no plans to retire.

Watching the KTLA-5 Morning News.
Odd one....KTLA-5's Morning News anchor, Chris Burrous, was found dead yesterday afternoon in a Glendale motel. So the main news item is everyone else in the studio reporting on the death of the main reporter.

A documentary about the Lockheed P-38 Lightning.
If you're into WWII aircraft at all, the Lightning was an absolute gem of a plane.

Goodfellas, only this time all the way through. I’ve watched the first 50/60% of that film three or four times, finally got to the end for once.

My wife and I watched the BBC dramatization of War and Peace, a book I've never managed to finish.
A pretty decent adaptation.

Re: What you watching?
Dark matters: Twisted but true, on Discovery History, This one is talking about experiments of creating stuttering in children, so they can then stop it (in their warped world if they can create they can stop it) i know I am watching actors but it is so sick and cruel.... all they did was to damage the kids with negative reinforcements..... so they were withdrawn and traumatised, never to be the same again.
Interesting program though, covering all sorts of stuff

It's a tough read.....there's nothing that grabs you & pulls you into the story.Kwacky wrote:My wife and I watched the BBC dramatization of War and Peace, a book I've never managed to finish.
