Re: HM strain gauge quickshifter
I hope they have some strong strain gauges because they do not like resonant frequencies.

Re: HM strain gauge quickshifter
I suspect that your average 4 cylinder MotoGP bike gives them a fair test.

Re: HM strain gauge quickshifter
They probably get replaced every weekend too.
Strain gauges within a machine tool environment have taken years of R&D followed by many more years of on-site testing etc. It's at a point where it's very useable on the majority of machines but still not recommended on others.
One thing in their favour is that they don't need to be sub-micron, I suppose.

Not sure I understand what you’re saying Cav, everything including you and me has a resonant frequently.

I certainly have a resonant frequency, and it resonates a lot more after a good curryMonty wrote:Not sure I understand what you’re saying Cav, everything including you and me has a resonant frequently.

I've just left a resonant frequency that frankly will be a danger to shipping!D6Nutz wrote:I certainly have a resonant frequency, and it resonates a lot more after a good curryMonty wrote:Not sure I understand what you’re saying Cav, everything including you and me has a resonant frequently.

Re: HM strain gauge quickshifter
Are you a bit irregular, or does this happen with high frequency.....in the AM, for example?
