Re: What are you doing today ??
Originally planned to finish the bricks for the workshop (the ones which require cutting in for the angled roof), however, I woke up dead today... yes... I have a cold.
Thankfully the weather has been appalling so I wouldn't have been able to do it anyway. Instead, I'm doing more uni work and had the car on a jack to check the rear suspension as there's anew knocking noise. Nothing felt loose so I'll have to see if it develops

Ive mainly been shopping for large quantities of tinned food, bottled water, constructing a Anderson Shelter and commissioning the new diesel drive generator .
The wife has taken the kids for gas mask fitting and the eldest had some physical training in readiness for his impeding conscription.
Nice festive day full of Christmas cheer, good will Merry Christmas everyone

Updated my work thread!
Work Is going extremely well. Feeling a lot happier being there.
In the past month
I have managed to be nominated and won Superstar award (£25 Gift voucher)
£25 m&S voucher for taste panel (tasting chocolate this year)
And the final and icing on the cake as i was leaving (boss was going to wait until next year but as i bumped into him he wanted to give it to me this evening) I have won associate of the year on Bars line (£250)
Feeling happy
Last day was today as well so I've broken up from work. Let Christmas time commence

Re: What are you doing today ??
Been into Reading Town to grab a couple of bath bombs from Lush for my misses for Christmas. We are keeping Christmas cheap and cheerful this year because of our wedding and honeymoon. I love this lady so much, some women wouldn't deal with having 20quid spent on them it doesn't matter to my misses she thinks of the long run, this is why we have had some incredible trips over the years
And also played Battlefield V on PS4 for a few hours!

Well last night a major storm cell smashed us. Luckily the hail that hit us was only grape size but down in the city they didn’t fair as well. Within an hour of the storm hitting there had been $18 million in insurance claims across Sydney.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Recovering from lastnight and waiting for a delivery of hand guards for the GT.
Then off to have a short test drive in an electric car, i know that i cant afford it but it will be an experience. It's a Hyundai Ioniq.
Edit
I nearly fell off my chair when he ran the PCP figures, £580 a month could get a decent mortgage for less...
But I liked the way it drove, silent and in sport mode as fast as the civic at low speeds, not the same punch up above 50 but it's 88Kw (118bhp/218Lb Ft) compared to the civic's 140bhp and 270Lb Ft of torque form the 2.2 diesel. It was the Premium SE so it had everything, even heated and cooled leather seats with a heated steering wheel.
One day I will have an electric car but not just yet.
