I'm going to go over the bike again at the weekend to make sure I haven't missed anything. I'll be pissed off if I've got a dud.
Good to hear Honda are dealing with the problem professionally and not just dismissing it.
I think it will be an isolated problem but ask the dealer to give the bike a good inspection as your concerned and worried you have a dud. You wont have a dud I'm sure, but no know harm in a second set of eyes checking it over.
I managed to get 24.18l into the tank this morning.
The petrol warning light came on on the way home last night. I rode all the way to work with the light flashing so I reckon I did about 48 miles on reserve.

I noticed some condensation on the bike this morning when I went to take the Versys out.
I'll have to keep an eye on that. I have got an indoor cover for it but obviously it' not on at the moment. I have used some ACF50 on the key parts and a bit of ACF50 Grease. The condensation was on the bars and handguards. The garage isn't heated.

I stick a sheet over ours to draw the condensation away, then dry the sheet / wash it occasionally. Seems to work well if you do it as soon as you return with a warm bike (and avoid it being on the exhaust )
Any good getting an electric greenhouse heater and putting it under the bikes? Not as cheap as a sheet or towels to run but they aren’t that expensive if you’re getting condensation.
Nice choice of machine - picked one up myself recently. Not been able to add any accessories as yet, spending a fortune on bike gear first has set this back a week or two....
