Re: What are you doing today ??
A trip to the Doctors this morning followed by having Virgin Media Fibre internet, TV and phone installed at home, broadband speed is up from 36 mbps to 109! and my monthly bill is almost halved.
Then got a Now Tv stick set-up and watched Guy Martin's F1 special
Then pulled the bike out and washed it and took it out for a few hours, finished up meeting a couple of friends up at Squires for a coffee and chat.
The LED headlight upgrade on the bike is awesome as are the cornering lights.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Went to London today to go and see Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre. Fantasic play, the girls were lovely all half naked so i wasn't complaining lol. The band were excellent and I loved the fact they included the band and not hid them away like many other plays. We had great seats I paid a fair bit for them but we'll worth the price in my opinion
Also found our next play we gotta go and see...see pics!

Got the kids back as I would’ve technically got back from work last night. So slotted back into parent routine. Was weird being home but not having them, thought I did steal a day on Fathers Day.

Re: What are you doing today ??
StMarks. It was certainly worth the dosh. The acting was excellent, the singing was class and to top it off the band were fantastic. I have a soft spot for live brass and string bands. The amount of work they put into it is tremendous and I LOVED the fact the director got them to have their moments and incorporated them into the play. Well worth going to see it in my opinionStMarks wrote:Don't let him rile you Rossgo, fwiw I think your Fiancée has great taste, I would love to see a good live production of Chicago.Rossgo wrote:My partner wanted to see it. Re: What are you doing today ??
Today travelled down to Alton Towers for 2 days.
Have been on
Thi3teen
Oblivion
Spin puck ride (unsure of name)
Hex
Air (now Galactica)
Wickerman
Tomorrow the rest!
Also went into the Rollercoaster Restaurant which was excellent. Gimmicky as its food from mini rollercoaster but what a great idea. I can see our waiters going eventually as they hand over tablets onto the table in this one to order our own food. Great idea to be honest. Food was great I had a sirloin steak with greens then had a lovely choc brownie with crunchy and oero crumbled on top

Yeah...I'm only joking Ross.
StMarks is spot-on...a good American show like "Chicago", "Oklahoma", etc. is about as good as it gets.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Took Jorja to her first althletics meet. After her success at the school athletics and rep at small schools and districts she was keen to join an athletics club. I was in full support.
Then I found out it’s on Friday nights and takes 2.5-3 hrs per meet
But she killed it. Won her first ever hurdles race, 2nd in 200m, 2nd to the area champ in discus. Not bad for a first meet!
