My boss.
These emails are 12 minutes apart.
Police Officers – thanks for the notes and statements. I think I’d like more to go into their statements from what I read in your note. I’d like to flesh [Officer's] statement out more particularly and I’d rather have more than less in there given they are helpful to us
I reply to reminder her that the statements were my first draft dictation, so I hadn't seen them before she had her meeting on the case.
This is the next email.
Great thanks.
Don’t worry about the statements at all. not sure whether I want to put more in them that we ought to

Well that was a weird night.
Aproxx 1.30 we were awoken but what appeared an enormous explosion.
Turns out the en-suite shower door had exploded and shattered into thousands of pieces, covering the room in glass shards.
No logical explanation other than i suspect maybe one of the runner wheels has collapsed and the door has fallen into the cubicle.

Probably a knock or a bang caused a tiny little crack / stress fracture a while ago and has been very slowly propagating until ulitmately it reached failure point and let go dramatically.duke63 wrote:Well that was a weird night.

Glad it happened when no one was showering.

It appears it's quite common from doing a bit of research.
However if the other door does the same tonight, I will probably shit myself.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
people who try to withhold information when processing a mortgage and think that you either wont find out or that it wont effect it. I get it with Debt that sometimes people are ashamed how much they owe but by ignoring it or lying about it they just make it worse as it ALWAYS comes out of the woodwork and always causes issues!
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Just spent 4 hours driving home from Silverstone soaking wet, sat in a puddle in the drivers seat with 2 bored kids behind me moaning, whilst negotiating heavy traffic and some idiot drivers, all after getting up at 330am this morning.
All journey I'm focused on getting home, getting dry and getting a chippy tea and a beer.
We get home and the wife throws my tea all over the kitchen, curry sauce is soaking into the granite work tops which are a bugger for staining and my meal is skidding round the floor, so out conmes the brake cleaner and some rags to save the day.
Ten minutes later I sit down to eat what's left of my tea and it's stone cold.
The wife says what's wrong with you? Suggests it's all my fault and I'm just grumpy as only an accident.
I 've gone for a beer on my own in the lounge as don't want to give my honest reply and have a bloody argument.
Had enough today

School shoe shopping
That proper sucked the life out of me.
5 shops we visited. We tried up to 6 different shoes on in each shop and 99% of his response to "what do you think?, do you like them?" was "I don't know"
Well I know if you don't like something soon your going to school in socks son
Painful and I've certainly earned a few beers today

How kids are different, we did the uniform top on Saturday (last time ever!), MiniGee knew exactly what he wanted, went straight to them and they had his size. Job done.
Mind you shoe or clothes shopping anytime with Mrs Gee is exactly as you described.

There are only a few specialists shops where you can get wife-sized school uniforms, Deegee.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
This *gah*
My tinted HJC RPHA 11 visor has now got a chunk missing. It's clearly an issue with the locking mechism being there and the amount of force you need to lock the visor shut. It's approx a year and half old but with very little mileage on it due to having 2 visors for this lid and 2 different lids. It shouldn't happen!! Suppose I gotta fork out for a new one
