Fingers crossed it's 'just' a sprain.. no particular damage to recover from, just a recovery process with a bit of frustration.
Hopefully nothing serious

Well what appeared to be a tooth infection may in fact be a sinus infection!

My guess is it’s those dodgy bloody boots you’ve worn to destruction!!Itchy wrote:My knee.
No idea what I've done or what has happened to it, it was fine walking into work this morning, but as the day has gone on my knee seems to have swollen and is trying to seize up.
It's not very comfortable.

Still got the trailings of the man flu. Coughing up great dark lumps in the mornings and still a lot of sinus congestion. Sitting in an aircraft right now hoping I’m not about to be in lots of pain with the pressure change. If I hadn’t have had last swing off with my surgery I would’ve called sick, but I haven’t showed my face Offshore for 3 months & I thought I might be pushing my luck.

My @$$.
It's been too long since I've been doing much cycling & I'm paying for it. Niceties like full suspension are no longer a luxury, they're a necessity......and that's just on the road. Heaven only knows what it'll be like when I go back into the dirt.

Saw a medic as opposed to a doctor.
As a result, got 3 days off guard duty, but we're not exactly sure what is wrong.
Feels much better this morning. Still not 100% but a lot better than before.

Sounds like it could be inflamed tendons in that case.. fairly quick recovery, swollen/numb/aching pain, I suffered inflamed tendons in my knee when I revisited training after my ACL/LCL tears

Re: What ails you today?
I've got a sore throat. The kids have had it so I guess it was only a matter of time. My daughter has now got viral sinusitis so I'm hoping I can avoid that.

I suspect viral sinusitis might be what i have had for the last 3-4 days. I thought it was a tooth infection but my teeth are no longer sore. However it feels like i have the flu.

Still got my tonsillitis. Still feel knackered. I'll have to get myself to the doctors.

Torn hamstrings with scar tissue in my left leg. If i jump up and shout occasionally on the euro tour, it's not Tourette's, it's sudden sharp shooting pain

Get yourself a foam roller.. guaranteed it will help with consistent use!!
That's and gentle movement to get it warm followed by dynamic stretches - avoid static stretching
