Rik Mayall

Post by Kwacky »

It's been announced that Rik Mayall has died. No more information at present.

What a sad loss. I grew up with his comedy. Kevin Turvey, The Young Ones, The Dangerous Brothers, BlackAdder... the list goes on.

A sad loss, and not that old either.

His comedy however will live on for many years.

Total legend and a great loss. They took us from Benny Hill and Dick Emery to the Comic Strip and the Young Ones.

A real game changer!

Loved everything he ever made, we have lost a comic genius and a trailblazer. I'll remember him best as Flashheart I think.

The most intelligent comedian I've ever seen. An amazing mind that he had and so funny. My favourite by a long way. I don't mind saying I cried when he died :(

Was watching that the other night. I bought the box set a few years ago and dig it out every few months as it still just creases me up laughing but my fave episode is 'Gas' when the gasman calls.
