Re: What are you doing today ??
Went to the NEC Motorcycle Live yesterday.
Went there to find a couple bits and managed to get both plus 2 more bits!
So I have been looking at new brake braided brake lines and knew that HEL were there. First thing first was to book ourselves in for a test ride (i rode a GSXS1000) then take a look around at the new bikes. Well as I was queing my dad turned around and noticed some HEL braided lines and I started looking. The guy on the desk said is it something you are after. I of course replied yes and told him which bike for. I asked for the price and then I asked if there's a discount which he replied yes. Managed to get 20quid off
Then onto a new bike cover x2 (one for me and one for my mate) and also I noticed a new Oxford bum bag but a small one as mine is great for weekends away as I can hold loads in it but not good for the odd blat out when all you need is your wallet for cake, phone to look up where to find cake and your keys....! I managed to knock another 20quid off
Then also the new Fast bikes mag for a quid!! The guy said he came with over 2000 and he only had 200 left so he had to ask for more!!
All in all very happy!

Day off, so just slobbing out, watching TV, feeding the spiders, washing the bikes. I need to nip to a bike shop to get a new chain brush.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Wishing I had a day off like kwacky as I have loads of jobs to do around the house, snakes need feeding and cleaning out, bike in desperate need of a wash, and I just don't want to be hear having a fight with HSBC's systems which are RUBBISH and make submitting business to them VERY difficult!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Not today but yesterday. Popped to Halfords picked up some Dot4 brake fluid, a brake bleeding kit, some paper towel and also some gloves. Then popped to Ernest Jones to order a ring for my misses. Got a text today to say it's in store now but I let them know I wouldn't be picking it up until maybe after Christmas.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I'm happy with the deal.
Took some haggling and bought the car without seeing it but the specialist has a very good reputation for turning out quality cars so fingers crossed it's a good one.
Pick it up in 3 weeks so bit of a Christmas present to myself.

In the city for the night with Jess. Have her work Christmas function which is a show cruise on the harbour, open bar, should be good!
