Work with a dash of overtime and a lunch time gym session, these mega long meal breakes come in handy sometimes.
Need to get my holidays for next year and see when the iom trip is.

I'll look at Isle of Man dates later on in the year. I wouldn't mind going in the summer if possible.

I promise to try and join up next year, I'm booked up through May and June already though and then I'm aware your getting close to TT time
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

I'll be honest I've already booked off around 3 weeks worth of holiday for next year, I desperately want to come IOM with you guys! I'm waiting for my Rota to come down so I know when my days off are, hopefully it's through my days off so I only have to book the minimum off work!

Had a race with another same car owner as me on the way home after my shift. I spotted him while I was approaching the motorway. I provoked for one and he took the bait!! Well that was the first night shift drive home I wasn't tired for!! He beat me though. It was my first 'street race' for many years!! It was proper fun, even he knew it as well as we both laughed including his mate beside him!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Went to a 4x4 Adventure and Camping Show to specifically look at a new camper trailer I'm thinking of getting. The one I have is very labour intensive to set up and Jess isn't always able to be there to help. Almost impossible for one person and the kids are next to no help. We camped couple of weeks ago and it took me 4 hrs to have it all setup.
So looking at this

Comes with a full inflatable annex as well that adds about 5 mins to the setup.
Pricey compared to what I've got but will make it so much easier to get out and Less restrictive on when and where. At the moment I wouldn't even consider just popping out for a one or two night camp as the setup and pack up doesn't make it worthwhile and limited to one day away camp sites as spending a night in it along the way is impractical.

I’ve recently gone inflatable tent, my old one took me 3 hours. More if I opened the Gin on arrival.

Nailed an M4 and a single seater round Oulton Park.
Brilliant day. M4 is big and heavy but quick. Single seater are great fun and like a cross between a go kart and a limpet but the limiter is set too early yiur boucning it off the thing for well over half a lap and the brakes are redundant once you get a good rhythm

Re: What are you doing today ??
I go camping with 4 kids the same as Monty, the camper I'm looking sleeps 6 if you break down the diner sitting area, plus the annex can partition of the ends to make 2 more fully enclosed single rooms and sleeps 2 more with stretchers or air beds.D41 wrote:You'd need two or three of them, wouldn't you??.....Your own little mobile housing estate!!
These are on sale in U.K. Monty, they were actually developed over there.

Really! I’ve been looking at Bush trailers for years and never found anything in the UK. I thought they were all made in South Africa.

They are, very impressed seeing it in the flesh too. Would totally open up camping options for us, hell, I could pull up, get on the lash and let the kids set it up!!C00kiemonster wrote:Those are ace - i want one too now! Downside is if I do splash out on this a second bike is out the window.
